Crys16 are delighted to welcome local businessman Iwan Griffiths to the board.
Iwan, a lifelong Scarlets supporter and fluent Welsh speaker, was admitted to the board following the AGM earlier this month and is excited to bring his professional expertise and personal passion for Scarlets rugby to the board.
As well as being a director of a structural engineering consultancy based in Llanelli, he has also served as a local councillor for Bryn and Llangennech Community Council during the past year, and a governor of Bryn School.
Iwan travelled to South Africa with many of our members in May for the tail end of the URC regular season.
“I understand what the team means to the community and believe Crys16 plays a vital role in keeping that relationship strong”, said Iwan.
“I welcome the opportunity to give back to a club and a community that has given me so much.”
It was also announced that Sarah Greener and Jonathan Armstrong was re-elected to the board for another 2-year term, whilst Owain Davies was also elected for a new term.
